Frogtoon Muziek - Nummerinformatie: Supercut

"Supercut" Is A Song Where Lorde Reflects On A Past Relationship Dwelling On The Memories And Moments They Shared. The Song Examines The Idea Of A "supercut" In Which The Narrator Takes Snippets Of Their Experiences With This Person And Replays Them In Her Head Trying To Make Sense Of The Love That They Had And The Love That They Lost. The Narrator Talks About How She Has A Vision Of Them In Her Head That Never Stops And That They Are Intensely Vivid And Strong Particularly The Moments They Spent Together In The Car Listening To The Radio. The Chorus Repeats Emphasizing That It's Only A "supercut" - Just Snippets Of What They Once Had But Not The Whole Experience. In The End The Narrator Holds Onto The Hope That If The Person Were To Come Back She Would "forgive And Not Fight" Allowing For The Possibility Of Restoring That Relationship.
